Heirloom Care & Studio FAQ

FAQ for Neue Heirloom Studio

About Our Products & Craftsmanship

.What makes a Neue Trinkets Kreation unique?

Every piece is a "one-of-a-kind" (OOAK) creation. I combine hand-sculpted elements with vintage textiles, antique lace, and reclaimed materials. Whether it’s a Garden Whisperling or a Victorian Stitchling, no two are ever identical—each has its own "soul" and story.

How do I care for my doll?

These are heirloom art pieces, not toys. To keep them looking their best:

Dusting: Use a soft, dry makeup brush or a pressurized air canister (from a distance) to gently remove dust from curls and lace.

Sunlight: While they love a bright room, keep textile dolls out of direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods to prevent the vintage fabrics from fading.

Handling: Always pick them up by the body rather than the hair or accessories to protect the delicate hand-stitching.

Where do you source your vintage materials?

I love the hunt! I source vintage lace, buttons, and teacup sets from antique shops and estates right here in Florida. Using "weathered" materials gives each piece a sense of history that new fabrics just can't match.

Do they come with the accessories shown?

Yes! If a Victorian Stitchling like Cordelia is shown with glasses and a tiny bear, she will arrive at your home with those exact treasures. Every doll also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me.

Do you take custom orders?

"I love creating bespoke companions. Please contact me to discuss a custom order inspired by a favorite book character or family memory."
